Howdy!

Jillian Sander is a crafter of whimsy and life’s fantastical little wonders and considers herself a multimedia artist with a focus in illustration, painting, and fiber sculpture. Though her practice is multi-faceted, she finds that her themes stay constant, and she spends much of her time exploring the depths of imagination. Often, she discovers there’s magic to be found all around her! Jillian is constantly amazed by the intricacies of the natural world, and spends much of her time researching flora and fauna and adventuring in the great outdoors to get up close and personal, and oftentimes a little muddy. Jillian earned her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and currently resides in Flagstaff, AZ, where she runs her business, The Crafty Critter. Her work has traversed multiple anthologies, galleries, businesses, publications, murals, screenings, and fests, and she has taught workshops and classes of all sorts.
